Why is there a crisis in Kenya?

Cannot text-message to Kenya yet can receive from Kenya. Why?

When I text-message to Kenya, my phone signals, "Message sent successfully" yet my party in Kenya does not receive it. Message goes into "Outbox". I can receive text messages from Kenya. How do I solve the problem?? Thinking of switching to other carrier if problem cannot be solved.

Are you in the US? I went and bought a cheap trackphone from Walmart for $14 and a card. I was fooling with it and I send text msgs to my folks in Kenya. You can imagine how happy I was wehn they sent me back a reply. Since then I have been texting them whenever I want to without any problem. It costs me 0.3 cents to send and receive a page of text. Try that..I dont know about regular cellphone plans.Am done with them.
