Are the markets in Kenya cheap?

Cheap on line website accommodation in Kenya?

  • Can anyone recommend a website that offers hotel and or self catering accommodation in Kenya with prices at about 40 euro a night per person or less? The cheapest I have found so far is 88 euro per night per perspn. Surely there must be better value than that! I am going to Kenya for 10 days late October-early November. Will be in Nairobi and the coast. Will probably rent a car from Nairobi airport. Travelling independently but not alone. Have been to Kenya before 11 years ago and have lived in several African countries, I know that there must be pleasant clean hotels available for the price I want. Even a phone number will help for enquiries if no website. Thanks! I am Irish.

    there is a serviced and furnitured apartment of one bedroom, bathroom and kitchen I stayed on it last month...it cost 4500/- which is approx 49 Euro per night and it is in west lands in Nairobi...opposite Nakumat Ukay supermarket..called progressive hotel!nice please...sports room... internet (slow)...I have the reciept from them some where and can send you the phone#..
