Is it safe to travel to Kenya?

  • I was thinking of traveling to Kenya this summer, but saw that the State Department put out a travel advisory. Does anyone know what it is like to travel there?

Despite the travel advisory, thousands of americans visit kenya every year and hundreds of thousands from other regions of the world. it is safer to walk in the streets of Nairobi than in New york, Los angeles, jo'burg e.t.c those who say there is violence here have their facts wrong.
