Do you think Kenyans can get their sheet together?

After Independence it was all smiles and promises of a brighter future. However,Jomo Kenyatta screwed up the country so so much. In the Moi era, things took a turn for the worse. In Kibaki's era, things have picked up a bit but it still sucks. Being a politician = profitable business. Little to no politicians care about Kenya/Constituents. Another election will roll up, Kenyans will easily get divided along tribal lines and the new batch of leaders/same old ones will profit again and again. Why can't Kenyans see this and vote in good people irrespective of their tribe/where they came from?

With the promulgation of the new constitution in August 2011 whic is one of the most progressive laws in the world;Kenya is going to get their act together. The new consitution has given all the powers and resources to the citizens through the devolved government.While the executuve,legislature and judiciary all have checks and balances in the new constitution. For one to be president he needs to garner over 50% of the total vote in addition to 50% of the votes count in 27 counties(hence an elected president will not be based on tribe)
