How common are Black Mambas in the Masai Mara?

Is there a rule for spelling Maasai? Or is that Masai?

• I'm hoping there are some Kenyans online who can help me with this: is there a hard and fast rule to using Masaai or Masai? I always say Masai Mara and Maasai tribe, but I'm not sure if that's right. Please help!
