How to transfer files from my PC to an external hard disk?

Answer:
I am no techie, but I think if you open an instance of Explorer (or any other manager for that purpose) and then open another Explorer Menu pointing on your External Drive, you can use Drag&Drop from the first one (your Fixed Drive) to the second one (your Removable Drive). There are also some Dual Pane File Managers like Total Commander or Explorer² that can also do the "synchronization" procedure in case you want to update to the new file versions only. Greetings.

Plug your external into your computer. Go to My Computer and open the file to see whats on your external. Drag and drop all of the files that you want on your external into that open file showing whats on your external. Thats it! Hope this helps!
