Dont hate me cuz im lebanese, i dont approve of the stupid enmity we have. Anyway, if u worked really hard, u cant just give it up. U can visit a lot, every now and then, but u cant just throw everything u have away. Ull get used to America, the folks are real nice, and it a cool country. If ur really homesick, go back, but ull be risking ur life with one horrible choice. Best of luck,wish u the best.

Think about what you already have in America, If you drop everything and return home will you have to restart everything? you can always take frequent trips back to Israel. On your week trip think about what your options are over there.

No, it isn't stupid to feel this. However, I would think about a few things before deciding. You don't feel at home. You are clearly writing on how you don't like America. I'm American myself, so I don't really understand; however, I do clearly see that you personally are having issues here and from what you have written it seems like it might get worse. It's about you: I would do what's best for you. One thing is to go back to Israel. Obviously, you know how to live there. Many of your friends and family seem to be from there, as well as an area of comfort and familiarity. These things make for a great home, and it's hard to leave these behind. If it's truly riding on your mental status, I would visit some sort of psychologist first. Seriously, if it's getting you down, you might need some help to get through until you finish college. It is the college thing that I personally would be concerned about: It's important to have a degree in today's world. You can live without one; however, it becomes harder in advanced countries, like Israel for example. And, American degrees are good worldwide. If you are willing to move back to Israel, without finishing college here in America, I would see what I can do in Israel. For example, Israeli Universities should not cost as much as American ones, depending on your scholarship package and where you want to go and went. See if you can transfer into an Israeli University. Also, you will have to think about military service, I'm assuming, since I'm not quite sure about your religion and age. If that is the case, your studies might have to come to a hold, until this is finished. If you are willing to do that, like a lot of other Israelis, then you can come home, I guess. Really, worse case scenario, you stay in America until you graduate, and then move back to Israel. It's really a matter of whether or not you can stomach those four years, in which case I would see a specialist.
