Where did Arabs appear from?

Who are the Arab Christians in Palestine, where did they come from, and how did they become Arabs?

• Israel supporters claim that Palestinians originally come from Arabian peninsula who immigrated to Palestine only after the 7th century. They say that these Palestinians today cannot possibly be descendants of any populations that lived in Palestine before that date. Their entire argument is based on one irrelevant fact, which is that Palestinians are Arabs. They completely refuse any historical facts that most natives were culturally Arabized not in Palestine only, but in many areas under the Islamic rule. So my question to them is to explain who are the Christian Arabs? I don't think anyone here thinks they are descendants of Muslims conquerors! How did they become Arabs? There can only be 2 possibilities: 1) Arabs lived in Palestine before the Islamic conquest. 2) Christian population was culturally Arabized. And if it is possible for Christians to become Arabized, then why not for the rest of Palestinian population who converted to Islam?
