Why can't jews have their OWN land?

Do you know that you have me totally confused with this "Jews stole Arab land" story?

  • First, the historical facts. Jews conquered Canaan, assimilated the Canaanites and took their land. Assyrians and babylonians conquered two Jewish Kingdoms the Jews created- Judea and Israel- and took their land. Persians came and conquered this land from Assyrians and Babilonians Alexander The Great conquered it from Persians and took the land Romans conquered it from Greeks and later renamed Judea and Israel in "Palestine". Arabs conquered it in the 7th century and took the land. Their rule in Palestine lasted less than 300 years, and after that Turks conquered it from Arabs and sat there until the 19th century, almost 600 years. All the land belonged to Turkish government and Turkish landlords who rented it to the poor fellahins- peasants. Jews managed to get the land back after Turkey was defeated in the WW1. In which way did the Jews "steal the Arab land"? If you said the Jews stole the Turkish land, it would still have some logic: 600 years is quite a long time. But saying that "Jews stole the Arab land" looks to me absolutely lacking any sense.

  • Answer:

Everyone you've mentioned controlled the land as part of their empire and didn't own the land. If I own a land in France, would I loose the ownership when a new government is elected?even if another country evaded France and called it Rance, would that mean that I no longer own the land? Yes,many nations and empires have controlled Palestine, but when they do control it the people living on the land don't disappear, the people who are living on Palestinian land own the Palestinian land,no matter what government is in control, problem is:when "Israel" was created the people living on the land Palestinians (who's language is Arabic) were thrown out and their land was taken and given to immigrants from Europe and Russia. That's why we say Palestine was stolen from us,Palestinians. No I can't help it if you were racist or Islamophoic,I can only help you understand if you're not those two things and are welling to think about it reasonably. If you have time, read the book "The Lemon Tree" by the "Israeli" author Sandy Tolan..and you'll understand why we say that they stole our land. Good luck,

If an Arab buys land in any part of the world, he is buying it. If a Jew buys land in Greater Israel, he is stealing it. If a Muslim goes to live in Britain, France, Holland etc., that's ok. If a Jew goes to live in Greater Israel, he is a settler. The British stole that part of Mandated Palestine, to the east of the Jordan, and called it "The Hashemite Kingdom of Transjordan." Jordan is Palestine. Any Arabs who do not appreciate living in Greater Israel can go there (or anywhere else). Maybe they would then make a life for themselves, rather than bombs.

I should not say you are confused. You´ve made a very logic and absolutely correct conclusion from the evident logical chain: Jews could not steal any "Arab land" in Palestine, because Arabs did not have any. All this story about how jews stole Arab land is nothing but an Arab hoax , a part of the propagandistic war against Jews. In one word, it´s a b/s.

I know that the Jewish people are not particularly bright, but reading old Greek books can know the truth about Palestine. There are Greek philosophers that have written about Palestine hundreds of years before the arrival of the Jews in the Middle East. Read them and come back here for details bye bye

Don't YOU know that 90 % of Turks are Arabs? Don't YOU know that when a land is lost, it's lost? What if Native Americans decided to take their land back? What if Incas decided to take back latin America? What if Germany decided to take back a slice of Europe? You're only playing with words, that's it... @Jpeterboroug Will the Normans return England to the Kelts? No? End of discussion...

Finally someone used historical facts for their arguments on this section. What you said is 100% correct historically. The rest is Arab propaganda that is easy to fall for those who just began taking interest in the conflict

Most of land of modern of modern Israel was legally bought from Arab landlords by Jews, Jews have always lived in Israel to some extent

Lexmlo, "“Everyone you've mentioned controlled the land as part of their empire and didn't own the land” Your word play is senseless. When some country conquers another one, the first thing it does is to establish its property on the land, water, natural resources, to give them to the soldiers, nobility, priests, wives and concubines. Don´t tell me you do not know such simple things. “If I own a land in France, would I loose the ownership when a new government is elected?even if another country evaded France and called it Rance, would that mean that I no longer own the land?” Very interesting argument. So, if a Jew owned a land in Judea, Samaria and Israel and after that he was expelled to Persia or France, would he lose his ownership on the land he owned for thousands years just because some Romans invaded it and called “Palestine”, or just because some Arabs conquered Jerusalem and renamed it in “Al Quds” ? By your logic, he will not. What are you doing in the land owned by the Jews, then?

For Canute:: Jordan is Jordan!!! its only for JORDANANS!!! its not Palestine u ignornat and it will NEVER be!! The land u stole fromPalestinians is THEIR LAND and they will take it back!! I am Jordanian by the way
