Why do Christians support Israel?

Do you think Christians are sincere in their support of Israel?

  • I have heard many times that they talk about some prophecies that the Antichrist will come from somewhere north of Israel, as he is also called the "king of the north". Those Christians believe he will born in either Russia or Turkey, and that a war will break out. Then, many Jews will die in Israel and Jesus will resurrect and first convert Jews, then take Christians to the Kingdom of Heaven. They always talk about some prophecies like this one and tell "see the prophecy is coming true". I think they see Jews only as human sacrifices and Israel as an alter necessary for them to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Of course, the Christians I talk about are hard core radical ones.

  • Answer:

These Christians believe in some questionable prophesies and their main weapon is the TV. Some people call them televangelists, they are extremely fanatic, simple minded and very dangerous even to our Jewish friends. They support Israel only because they want to use the jewish people as a stepping stone to the fulfillment of their prophesies. Inside this rabid ideology, all of the Jews will be converted to Christians or they will perish in horrible deaths. They are always acting in large groups and they are very impatient people, which is a very dangerous element. Their Bible teaching ignores the New Testament. Their organizations consist of people that can barely know how to read or write and this makes them react with blind fanaticism but the American Zionists "use" them because at the present time it seems convenient. To me this is the most serious error of judgment they have ever made. They are notorious in always in taking the wrong decision throughout their history as a race. I hope I will be proved wrong in this, but I seriously doubt it, after witnessing how weak and corrupted the Jewish leaders are lately. BTW I am a Christian person. Greetings

Whackos believe a lot of things, and a lot of these Christians are bigger foaming at the mouth Zionists than the Israelis. That is an interesting interpretation, Christians viewing Jews as a sacrifice necessary to enter the kingdom of heaven. I never thought of it this way, but it makes sense. To most hardcore fundamentalists of all religions, people often become a means to an end. I think they are sincere, but with bad intentions.

No, the supporters of Israel are not true humans. They are corrupt politicians in the US and Europe, who are either blackmailed by the International Zionism with video tapes, sick deals, or blunders they committed sometime in their lives and they would be ashamed with their families and nations if they were discovered, or they are members in inhuman organizations with greedy financial interest, worshiping the Dollar. This is only how an illegal state would be established and survive. The wheel of history keeps rolling and one day all this will end in some good way. Where can they go from GOD? Do you think God would bless a country or a nation that behaves the ways the Israelis behave, killing innocent people, driving people out of their homes and destroying them, and killing peaceful activists?

They are as sincere as it gets, hardcore religious people are serious about everything... As a Jewish believer I like to believe this prophecy to be true, no one but g-d can truly say how exactly it will happen since such is the nature of prophecies and anybody can believe whatever they want. Most Christians support Israel not just what you define as hardcore Christians, for most protestants(as far as I know, maybe it is all of them..) if you don't support Israel then you deny Christianity, it is true that some do see Israel as a tool but nonetheless they support it vigorously, don't think it can get more sincere than that. The Vatican and the pope openly support Israel all the time as an example to others. The bible says that Jews are g-d's chosen people, and Israel cannot be explained any other way but a miracle from g-d, no country have ever done so many amazing things in just 62 years of existence from military victories to inventions and contributions to humanity in fields like medicine and high tech. Personally I never heard of or met any good christian that goes to church etc.. who didn't support Israel, atheists are Muslim imposers do not count in religious discussions. http://www.bible411.com/nationofmiracles/index.htm http://www.patrobertson.com/Speeches/IsraelLauder.asp

i think that they are..... however it amuses me sometimes that the belief is that jesus will come and convert jews to christianity, when in fact jesus' religion was judaism....he never changed it and in fact didnt start a new religion.. christianity began almost 300 years after his death. until then the apostles were very religious and pious jews. perhaps it will be the other way around that he will come back and convert all christians to judaism

What funny book did you get that story from? Christians that profess a support for Israel do so with a knowing attitude. They know what the bible says and not what so fool said.
