If Jews claim Israel because "we lived there thousands of years ago", shouldnt Native Americans get land back?
-
When Jews screech: "We deserve Israel because we lived there thousands of years ago"...then why doesn't that apply to any other Indigenous Peoples? By that logic, why isn't the UN "giving back" USA soil to the Native Americans and kicking out the colonialists?

Answer:
I completely agree.. also I think US needs to change their american history books to show the "real" facts about native americans. instead of making them out as blood thirsty savages that only ran around hooting and scalping people.. they were peaceful, generous, land loving, faithful, civilizied people.. who only wanted to defend their rights to their land and its resources..

we deserve Israel becuase we were given it by Britain then we won the rest of it in War. the reason we want the land is becuase we were promised it and it is holy.

The Native Americans got some of their land back with limited self-governance. Personally, I wouldn't mind them having somewhere central to where they used to live, like Oklahoma. However, the Native Americans are not in the constant threat that Jews live in. Besides, the Jews brought the Torah, the Native Americans brought totem poles. Three major religions came from the Jews, one of them truthfully following G-d (Judaism, of course). It benefits all three religions to have G-d's chosen people on G-d's promised land.
From what I understand, that's not what happened. From what I understand, they asked for land because they were persecuted in Europe and the Middle East. Several lands were proposed, but the UN ended up giving them that area because of their past historical relation to it. Any Arabs that lived there were given the option of staying and being given Israeli citizenship. Some accepted (Arabs of 1948), and some abhorred the thought of living with the Jews so they left. You may like this answer, you may dislike it, that's just what the history of the story goes.

America makes a big point of saying they have a black president, big deal. I would like to see a Native American one personally. I would also like to see America pay restitution for the etnic cleansing of the red indians and the slaves.
The difference is that Israel isn't kicking anybody out. non- Jews live in Israel alongside Jews.
omg
And Arabs would go back to Arabia etc.. GREAT IDEA.

Nothing is ever given, all is taken. Sure, the Native Americans will not succeed, but they sure as hell can try.

Jews have ALWAYS lived in Israel to some degree
