-
Shalom :) I have to do some telemarketing in hebrew. I lived in Israel for a few years, so I know how to say what my name is and where im calling from etc, and i can have casual conversations etc .. but i have no idea on technical terms or more formal language... can anyone help me with the following phrases ... I would like to speak with mr / mrs .... Is mr / mrs ... in the office today ? I would like to speak with the IT department I would like to speak with the Telecomms department .. Customer service ( the department ) Billing ( the department that produces bills to send to customers ) who is responsible for / in charge of .... I know that most business people in Israel will speak english but it would be usefull to know... Also - would it be better to introduce myself in hebrew and then speak english ? id like to practise my hebrew a little if i can, and also - i think it would help if the poeple im speaking with knew i was jewish or spoke some hebrew... any other advice as to how businesses work in israel ??? Toda Raba :)
