In the Torah it says that the Messiah will descend and gather all of them lost scattered Jews all over the world back to the Holy-Land. So, unless you consider David Ben-Gurion your Messiah, I advise you to learn your OWN Religion right. But don't finger 3 year olds please. And who knows, the Messiah might actually eventually descend. But till then, stay in Europe and remember that once the Messiah actually comes, I'll be the one sending for you in boats to come back to the Holy-Land. Much love for the Chosen-People of God. I think god punish and reward according to the actions . so you 1st Q the answer is NO . furthermore the jews who don't follow and live in Israel don't have FREE CHOISE as they can't choose to live in Chutz L'aretz (another country) without its citizenship. FREE CHOISE is very important term in Judaism . as I said god give us punishment or reward according to our actions so jew who have the choise to live in Israel or otherland and choose Israel willl get more generously than those who choose to live in the otherland regarless they follow or not. as our sages said כל המהלך ארבע אמות בארץ ישראל - מובטח לו שהוא בן העולם הבא meaning anyone (follow or not) who walk in Israel 4 meters - he's promised he'll reward . so those who follow and live in Israel will get rewardwd more than ppl who follow and live in other country . as lond as they have the FREE CHOISE. hope you can understand me despite my english

Living in Israel means you can now do more of the 613 mitzvot, so yes you will get more rewarded. I never really understood why any Jew who could move to Israel would stay in Boro Park and Monsey.
