Gaza Strip & Hamas?

Official view of USA regarding Israel's Gaza strip "Hamas, a State Department-designated foreign terrorist organization, violently assumed control over Gaza in June 2007, making worse the already dangerous security situation there. The Gaza Strip is wracked by ongoing violence between Israeli security forces and several Palestinian terror groups. In recent months, extremist factions in the Gaza Strip have specifically targeted Palestinian Christian groups. Militants there have abducted Western citizens, and terrorist organizations have threatened attacks against U.S. interests. The American International School in northern Gaza was the target of an attack on April 21, 2007, and again on January 10 and 12, 2008. Hamas and Islamic Jihad (another designated foreign terrorist organization) have intensified the launching of daily rocket attacks against Israeli towns as far north as Ashkelon. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) are responding to these attacks with military force.

Answer:
I agree. I'm now interested in the second round of talks being held in Yemen. The first round had hamas walking out without making any concessions or reconciliation with fatah.I predict at best a "cease fire" but no concessions by hamas to fatah on any talks with Israel.I'm also curious but sure i won't find out , how the 150 million dollars the USA just gave to the palestinian authority is used.

When an organization openly targets civilians, like Hams does, they are cowards. And they coward by hiding within the civilian population.

Gaza strip is the most condensed place on earth its population consist of two major groups 1 those who used to live in gaza pre 1948 2 those who refuged to gaza after 1948,for varied reasons some of palestinians left their homes (sure reasons are well known to all) late rabin dreamt of gaza eaten(swallown)by the sea sharon acted differently.he made settlers evacuate having gaza with sort of electronic belt made 4 or 5 entry points goods must pass through israel to gaza even if it was coming from egypt ,it should be through israel.not all goods are allowed to enter pple cant travel in or out of gaza have to pass israeli control ,even if they pass through rafah (palestine and egypt borders) so european are controlling the situation with cams connected with israeli,if europeans are nt there the entrance or departure is not allowed in short pple of gaza were nt free to come and go easily which gave them the feeling of prison later comes the election.palestinians freely elected members of hamas to represent them and was a government, once 1,5 million person gave 70% to hamas must be studied if it was not already well known is it the love of unknown future or is it the hatred of the previous,no one cared to study that thinking just making gaza a bog jail would make it disappear, before just the new elected government celebrated the winning, siege started, the siege of course was to gaza of the 1.5 million, according to all laws you can never force colloqual punishment to those that under your direct occupation the siege was imposed as not to let hamas administrate in the first place, they expect by stopping money they only can survive 3 months, that is only few things about gaza i found this for you http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCcuUmwIX...

There are a lot of foreigners who are living in Gaza volenteering for international groups who are trying to protect the Palestinians from Israeli terrorism that is going on daily over there. These foreigners were never bothered by Hamas. As a matter of fact I don't think Hamas has ever harmed any foreigners. Israel on the other hand has killed 3 foreigners in the Gaza strip 2 british and 1 American who they purposly ran over with a bulldozer. I don't have any strong feeling about Hamas but they are no more terrorist then the Israelis are. Israel is killing Palestinians at a 10 to 1 ratio how can they claim to be the victims?

Gator there's no way on earth you can justify all Israeli actions by pointing out the actions of radical groups in Gaza, they are living under extreme conditions. believe me if my country were invaded, my family slaughtered, my home bombed or my relatives rounded up and sent to a concentration/refugee camp I wouldn't consider anything extreme, even suicide bombing. maybe there should be a better-than-thou saying instead of holier-than-thou. I didn't read the protocols, are you reading some anti-Arab madlib?
