What is a typical home in Israel like?

Regarding home ownership, has Israel done to the Palestinians what the nazis did to the Jews?

  • When some Jews abandoned their homes a new one moved in, the new one claiming rightful ownership. Is this the same as what happened to Palestinian homes that were abandoned with Israelis now living in them?

  • Answer:

Abandoned ? Not according to some ex Iaraeli leaders. Quotations by Israeli Prime Ministers about the Palestinian Arabs Click here to add this page to your favorites "We must expel Arabs and take their places." -- David Ben Gurion, 1937, Ben Gurion and the Palestine Arabs, Oxford University Press, 1985. From Ben-Gurion, A Biography, by Michael Ben-Zohar, Delacorte, New York 1978. "There has been Anti-Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They see but one thing: we have come and we have stolen their country. Why would they accept that?" -- Quoted by Nahum Goldmann in Le Paraddoxe Juif (The Jewish Paradox), pp. 121-122. "Jewish villages were built in the place of Arab villages. You do not even know the names of these Arab villages, and I do not blame you because geography books no longer exist. Not only do the books not exist, the Arab villages are not there either. Nahlal arose in the place of Mahlul; Kibbutz Gvat in the place of Jibta; Kibbutz Sarid in the place of Huneifis; and Kefar Yehushua in the place of Tal al-Shuman. There is not a single place built in this country that did not have a former Arab population." -- David Ben Gurion, quoted in The Jewish Paradox, by Nahum Goldmann, Weidenfeld and Nicolson, 1978, p. 99. "Let us not ignore the truth among ourselves ... politically we are the aggressors and they defend themselves... The country is theirs, because they inhabit it, whereas we want to come here and settle down, and in their view we want to take away from them their country." -- David Ben Gurion, quoted on pp 91-2 of Chomsky's Fateful Triangle, which appears in Simha Flapan's "Zionism and the Palestinians pp 141-2 citing a 1938

it may have happened few times during some of the many wars Israel had, but Israel didn't force Arabs out of their homes except on a very few occasions in war times, it is Arab countries all attacking Israel at once which urged them to leave so they can return to all of Israel when Israel is gone, but Israel wasn't gone, it won all its wars, Arabs never admit defeats. http://www.islam-watch.org/Warner/Taqiyya-Islamic-Principle-Lying-for-Allah.htm There are many Arabs in Israel who live in their own homes as they chose not to leave, and there are no Jews who live in abandoned "Palestinian" houses at all. The Nazis did this is in millions magnitude, they were settling Germans in Poland and Russia by the millions, Israel didn't really do it, it was the Arab countries and now Arabs lie about it. @gili s, the hamas threatened to kill all the 2000 christian Palestinians in Gaza, so they left and now live in Israel. http://media0.terrorismawareness.org/files/Hamas.swf

Yes to a certain extent. One tactic Israel uses is dehumanizing the Palestinians (some even say they are non existent),the Naziz dehumanized the Jews in order to make it easier to mistreat and eventually kill them.

Well, Jews didn't "leave their home" they were expelled from their homeland by the greatest oppressive force ever exist-the Roman empire. The Jews been the landlords for more than 1500 years before that. Had impressive history of creation and life there and then expelled by the Romans after having a revolt which lasted 3.5 years against the Romans. In this revolt the Romans lost 2 legions out of total of a 29 they had over their entire empire. Notable German and Roman historians have called this revolt "the most severe the Roman empire even knew"-however the Roman revenge was to destroy entire Israel which was then a very important economical center. After that, the Jews had no choice but to leave they destroyed homeland to Europe and North Africa and elsewhere -in their prayers they always mentioned Jerusalem and their wish to return, something they were denied from. However, from the 4AC, when Jewish exile started, to 1948, when the Jewish state of Israel was declared-Jews were always living in Israel. Israel was called Palestine by the Romans, after they crashed the revolt. During the 1600 years of exile, many people conquered Israel: The crusaders, the Byzantines, the Ottomans, the Muslims, the Britons and so forth. Nevertheless, it remind mostly unsettled or populated with mostly several dozens of thousands while in the times under the Roman regime, the Jewish population in Israel counted as much as 3.5 million according to some estimations (as much as those hard to make for something was about more than 1000 years). During the time of the British empire, a survey done by the British mandate of Palestine reveled that in many regions of mostly unpopulated in Israel , there was Jewish majority. Another survey in the Arab population reveled that they were mostly seasonal workers with roots of no more than 200 years in Israel and that they were not even exactly Arabs, but an assemblage of people from all Arab and muslim countries, Including people from India, present days Bosnia, Iran, Ozbekistan, Egypt, Libya and etc. They had, and still don't have, their own unique dialect (they speak mix of Arab dialect they call 'Palestinian Arabic", but it is really mostly purely Egyptian Arabic) their own native foods, culture and so forth-however they extensively rewrite history with the help of extreme leftists scholars. The "Palestinian Nation" was established only in 1964, they didn't see themselves as a nation before the establishment of Israel. In fact, while many Christian Arabs identify themselves as "Palestinians" they are a minority within the mostly Muslim Palestinian population and they are being seen as different people with which they share the same identity only in fight against the Jewish state.

What the Nazis, Christians or Europeans did to the Jews has nothing to do with the Palestinians. Those helpless people shouldn't pay the bill for atrocities done by others. If you have problems with the Nazis or whoever , go and sort it out with them and show us how powerful you are.

nazi horror lasted 5 years zionazi horror 62 years and counting

you could do some research and analysis before doing such question , unless you are not asking but just wnt to saying something against Israel, even if it is not true. You can find a huge amount of cases in the history in which in the heat of a war or violent conflicts, entire populations are been obligated to leave their homes. what happened with the palestinians is not different, Israel has no general plan to expell all the arabic population. In some cases they were obligated, in some others they leave by them self's. But all was in the context of a war. In the old Germany, the jews were the objective of racist laws which denigrated their position in the society. finally the didn't move to another homes in some refugee camos but to the concentration camps. (and alot of them didn't come back from there).
