What is a psychometric test?

Do I need to take the Psychometric Entrance Test if I plan to study outside of Israel?

  • Obviously I'm an Israeli and also living in Israel. My question is, is it necessary for me to take the Psychometric Entrance Test even if I have no intentions whatsoever to study in Israel? Will the other countries (Germany) only look at my Bagrut score average? Is the Psychometric Entrance Test only needed for studying in a higher education institution INSIDE of Israel?

    Your going to need to take the test required in Germany or convert your Psychometric exam scores to the equivalent in Germany. I suggest you contact the school you want to go to and ask them if that's possible. If it is, you'll have to make a decision on which test to take, if it's not then you probably shouldn't take the psychometry.

if you decide to study in the USA, then americans take the SATS, but I would take the Psychometric Entrance Test if you plan on studying in the US because most of the time they will take an SAT equivalent (Psychometric, in your case) I can't speak for other Universities outside of the US

never heard of the tests you've mentioned above... but I guess you should plan where ur going to study and choose a uni and see it's requirements. I go to AUB, and I had to do the SAT and present school grades. But seeing ur israeli, ur not allowed to enter Lebanon. I suggest you choose a uni and see it's requirements... ur question is very broad and I have no idea what goes on in Israel.
