Whilst there is still some token Resistance from the remnants of the Hamas militia the Hamas commanders have fled to Damascus and are running the operation from there. The loss of civilian life is clearly the responsibility of Hamas who have used the population including children as 'human shields' to hide behind. When the war is finally over I hope that the UN takes Hamas to the Hague and charges them with war crimes.
