Is the Black Guerrilla Family still active today?

Are the Israelis using guerrilla warefare in their wars today?

  • Answer:

Guerrilla wars are long wars. The public in Israel can not stand long time wars. They always use their air-force and always attack civilian targets from long distances to avoid direct contact with guerrillas They tried it in southern Lebanon in 2006 but they couldn't stand the results and had to withdraw as soon as they could

NO. The enemy of the IDF are the unarmed civilians so they have no need to use guerrilla tactics when they can carpet bomb their opponents at will something they are best at as their is then no risk to themselves

You've got the Israelis mixed up with Hamas, Hezbollah and Fatah.

nope. Last time I checked, there were no IDF soldiers hiding in the bushes and coming out to attack terrorists just to retreat back to the bushes. Its more like, terrorists try to kill people, IDF stops terrorist, IDF kills/imprisons and throws away the key.

Israel has a long tradition using brave special forces behind the enemy lines. Let's not forget that the brave captain Moshe Dayan (later General Dayan) lost his eye in WW2 in action against German fascists behind enemy lines.

Guerrilla warfare is a form of irregular warfare and refers to conflicts in which a small group of combatants including, but not limited to, armed civilians (or "irregulars") use military tactics, such as ambushes, sabotage, raids, the element of surprise, and extraordinary mobility to harass a larger and less-mobile traditional army, or strike a vulnerable target, and withdraw almost immediately. Guerilla warfare doesn't tend to work well with large armies (as secrecy is the key). It could be done, but it would have to be with very small elite units (maybe at the max a squad*, but more likely a fireteam**). *Squad is a unit in various militaries that consist of 8-13 people. **Fireteam " " 4 people.

Guerrilla warfare is the norm today, not the exception. Armies used to line up in ranks and files on battlefields, then rush across the field to attack the enemy with hand-held weapons. Later on in history, the armies would line up and the armies would use range weapons (rocks and arrows) to attack the opposing army before closing to attack with hand-held weapons. Later still, someone got the great idea to hide behind trees or in ditches to shoot range weapons at the enemy before the enemy even knew they were walking into enemy territory. THAT, my friend, is "guerrilla warfare." It would be foolish to ask Israelis to line up on battlefields to face the Palestinian terrorists hiding in schools and hospitals and housing buildings.

Wait... Let me get this straight... All the people that are telling the truth are getting a bunch of downvotes..? C'mon people! At least pretend you are not biased!
