I will use your logic against you and ask why Isreal, with all the money and weapons it has got from the USA cannot win against a group of people who have nothing and are focred to live in virtual prison camps? How dare you be so bigoted. Palestine has existed for thousands of years, whereas your lot stole land to create Israel, nothing but common thieves. The Palestinians don't have an army or anything in comparison to Israel purely because USA gave Israel all thei hand me downs to create an ally in the middle east. I am not Palestinian but I can guess some of the answers. I think Palestinians fought with a lot of courage in many occassions, especially in the first and second Intifada. Yes, the opponent is Israel, but in reality it is Israel and US. US is fighting a lot because of the Jewish lobby in the US. So, in reality, it has many relegious - political infleunce in the background. And I would say, we Muslims have a lot to be blamed for letting the Palestinians fight alone. Our attachement to Palestine and Palestinians are not any less than Jews to Israel. Well, it is complex. Arabs really fought back but it was very painful. And decided (silently) since 1973 not to engage in any real war again. I blame many Palestinians for the corruption, internal conflicts on facing the struggle. In Sep, 28 Sharon visited the Aqsa mosque with 1500 soldiers in a provoking way. When Palestinians protested the answer was guns. More protests happened and more guns happened. Then, it was even more, there were snipers hunting for Palestinian kids. The whole attitude was a 'provocative' way, till the Intifada became very strong. 2 months later, 2 suicide bombs (the first ones I think in 2 or 3 years). In 2001, 8 suicide bombs, I think more than all suicde bombs in the history. Feb,6 Sharon was elected as a President. Israelis wanted more aggressive leader. Oppps, Sharon is a war criminal. Israel itself dismissed him as a minister of defence because of his deadly massacres in 1982 in Lebanon. There was an international charge against him that never reached court (because of political pressure) So, a war criminal, was okay to take a leading position in the government, and to be the head of the country again????? It is like Iraqis electing Al Zarqawi as president of Iraq.

All I mean to tell you is that I worked in Nahr El Bared for 3 years and I saw how those Palestinians live. (not only in one camp but throughout) They don't and can't have a voice everyday to discuss their situation. I have seen the MOST religious and peaceful families, that at the end of the day when they can put together 3$ to feed 11 people, and eat adis(lentils) or Mulehaha(mind the spelling), I have seen children cry to their mothers that they are still hungry. Why? because Palestinians are lazy? No , because they are not allowed to work, confined to the camps, but at the end of a meal that really I understand because it left me hungry also. To see them say elhamdollah and then do evening prayer, and thank God for all that he gave that day. And to have tears in my eyes and know that at the very least or most, they have God. and will one day go to Paradise for all of their suffering. Peace and blessings be upon you. i'm not palestinian ,but it is supposed that we all sisters and brothers. i liked your honesty in offering your point of veiw about this case. But actually ,most of people who belongs to Islam became a west followers now. We left our case and moved behind the west doing as them and left our ethics and our values. We trust that Allah will support the right ,but we need to return to our religion which asked us to unite and help each other.

So you're saying, that Palestinians are not praying enough? Religious Muslims pray 5 times a day, Religious Jews pray 3 times a day. Yet, if Hamas & other "Jihad fighters" wer being diligent at praying... there would be less time to smuggle weapons, and build bombs. I think I haven't released all my anger yet. Here is another round: Those Arabs who claim that they love us should understand that they are not better than what they call their ‘enemies’ Israelis. Their stupid leaders convinced the Palestinians to leave the land, they attacked the Jews in 1948 and 1967 and they are responsible for the Jews occupying the lands in 1967. They claim they love us and they treat us like animals in their damn countries. They keep the Palestinians in camps, where they are not allowed to build their houses or renovate them. I know most of Palestinians live in houses that have ceiling made of zinc and in winter all the water drift on their heads and fills their rooms and the Arabs don't allow them to fix their houses. They don't provide the Palestinian camps with enough garbage containers so people have to throw the garbage of the ground and keep it accumulated for weeks, which causes many diseases. In Lebanon, there are about 80 jobs that the Palestinians can't have. In Emirates they kick the Palestinian male out of the country once he becomes 18 even if his family lives there. In Iraq, they enter the Palestinian houses, assault women and kidnap men and do all kinds of torturing to them and then kill them for no reason. Just because the Palestinians are Muslim Sunnis, they call us wahhabi. In Syria, they (the previous Syrian president, Hafiz Al Asad) used to kidnap the Palestinians and destroy their houses with tanks. In Jordan, that is full of Palestinians, the previous Jordanian king used to drive on Palestinians with tanks and smash them and destroy their houses. The Egyptians and Jordanians occupied parts of the Palestinian territories. What do you want me to say more than that? I can keep going but I am really tired now. The Palestinians can't live with monsters, they need an independent state. The Palestinians had to leave their homes a long time ago and they left them and because they belong to the Arabic identity, the Arabs have to at least help them find a shelter in their countries. Remember, no work (and here if you want to argue that the lebanese people themselves don't have work, then why do they allow other nationalities to work, do you remember how many Iraqis went to work in lebanon, syrians?, they should allow work and it is all about luck and intelligence at finding job) no ownership, Sewage water !, narrow paths (zawarib), zinc roofs that drift water in winter? How can they fix all these if the lebanese government doesn't allow them to take building matterials to the camp? I think the made some changes to this rule but I am not sure how it is like now. And yes western countries DO give citizenships to refugees, when they have them. The problem is not with the citizenship, the problem is with the humilation like not allowing them to work or renovate their homes to prevent rain water from falling on their heads in winter. The problem is with a government like Iraq (and I mean the old government too. During the old governments time (Saddam's time), the palestinians had all their rights just like Iraqis but they didn't have any documents or citizenships. When the old Iraqi government fell, the Palestinians got stuck there and couldn't leave because they didn't have any documents to show on the borders and many of them had to make fake passports to be able to leave and get rid of the new government's evil. Do you know they are killing the Palestinians whereever they find them with no exception? For no reason and they are doing horrible things to them that even animals can't do? I was actually angry at something else (computer programming) and when I saw this question, I found a way to release my anger. Habib is generalizing too much and being errogant as well. He pretends that all of th palestinians are bad and are not following Islam correctly and have low faith. Yes you may say everything you want about me. I have a very sharp toungue and I can be very rude but for a reason. I pray four times not five but at least I pray. I don't wear Hijab but I never wear revealing clothes. I talk with a lot of boys and have many boy friends but never have any serious relation or had sex with any of them. I am not a "perfect" muslim (there is no perfect muslim) but I am a muslim.
