Have you ever visited a botanical garden?

Have you ever visited the Garden Tomb in Jerusalem? There is no proof that this was Jesus tomb,?

  • there are reasons to believe it could be. It was excuvated in the 1800s by some British archeologists ? I took some pictures and in the tomb there above the burial spot there is a picture of a cross and some letters. I'm wondering if the picture was done after the excuvation and if anyone that has seen it knows what the picture and letters meant. Christ rose so it doesn't really matter but the location and whole site made a deep impression on my mind even yet today. It was no doubt a richman's tomb such as Joseph of Arimatha located in a garden overlooking a hill looking like a skull. If you have been there I'd be interested in what you know about the excuvating and the pictures on the wall if you can tell me anything.

I have been there on a tour of the holy places in Jerusaelm. I have no idea about the history of the excavations but there is a lot of info on the net, some of it I brought here: http://www.bibleplaces.com/gardentomb.htm http://www.mustardseed.net/html/pjrugrdd.html http://giftsfromholyland.com/link.jsp?id=1144 http://www.sandalphon.com/gtcross.html
