What do people do for fun in Egypt?

Do you love Egypt and why?

  • Call me "mo3aqad" (complicated) but when I ask myself this question I cannot help asking myself another question "what is Egypt?". Is is the land, culture, people or something else. As much as Egypt could be a living hell for me, when I am about to leave I cannot stop thinking about things that I love about it. My family, friends and small hometown where I was brought up. I ask myself "do you really want to leave it for good?'. As much as I am fond of English, I really love our Arabic especially when it comes friends joke or make fun of something.

No man Misr - Egypt - Al-quipt The rose of the world, the best country between countries, the dignity of Arabs...believe me it's not like the slogan voice, it's the truth If you are Muslim you will know that Allah mentioned Misr many times in Quran... Wallahy it's a holy country بحبك يا مصر & if you are a Christian you will feel the calm places like Roxy, Shoubra...etc the places that Christians residents from along long time. & before the zionism Jews worked in Egypt as it was a rich country (((& Still))). All what i want to tell that Egypt occupied now Economically by some West businesses & internally by the Government. Can you imagine a country occupied by two factors opposite in direction!!! I have one more advice may anyone got the point to answer the question that all of us ask, Why Egypt become a piece of rubbish!

Well I wish I had so many ideas like you. As for me, I love it so much, it's always in my heart and I still can't believe I left it. I wish everyday that I would have never left it, and can't wait to go back there. Even though it's my 2nd country, not first, I still love it as I love my first one.

Ya of course I do for better or worse. Like I know Egypt is smell, corrupt, polluted, crowded, and I could go on and on for like ever haha. But it's still the homeland of my parents and I just love it. You know (this sounds totally weird) I feel connected some how like I love everything like the language, the food, people, soccer team. I promised myself once that I would never watch the Egyptian soccer team play ever again. I think it was when we lost to the USA and I was heartbroken. But of course I couldn't help it and I still cheer for them all the time. I just love egypt even more than America and I love America like a lot.
