How many Egyptians work&study in the UK?

Have the rules changed for Egyptians on charter flights?

  • My hubby has heard from a friend that Egyptians are no longer allowed to travel in & out of Luxor by charter flight. Surely this cant be right, he is a resident in the UK, so must be able to book a charter holiday. Please can anyone tell me or find out if this is true? Poor hubby is worried he cant come home, bless.

  • Answer:

No that is incorrect. Your husband can fly in and out of Luxor or anywhere in Egypt on a charter flight ,private plane or on an ordinary airline flight. He is the holder of a British passport so it doesn't matter that he was born in Egypt. He is now considered to be a British citizen not an Egyptian national.

im 99% that doesnt sound right, call up the embassy in london and ask them. Or If you are in london pop around - just in time for the ending of the Harrods sale. If you do end up in Harrods, have a yummy hot chocolate for me...
