How many protected areas in the world?

I have to right a paper about Egypt’s protected areas..?

  • Some general information I’ve found already, but still many of required questions were not answered and frankly saying I can’t find anything more about it. I have to cover these topics: 1. classification of protected areas in Egypt 2. according to what it is classified 3. it’s planning 4. functional zones of protected areas 5. land use in protected areas, it’s intensity and restrictions 6. problems of protected areas in Egypt and the ways of it’s solving Can anyone help me?

    Not sure you'll get much help with this, as anything classified in Egypt is well & truly kept off limits by the military, police & other officials. && dont try taking photos in restricted areas, it dosnt go down too well.
