Does anyone know about snake bites?

Does anyone in Egypt section know what the real name for a 'Catcher Snake' is ?

• I recently came face to face with one in a hotel poolside toilet. I came out of the door & caught sight of a movement on my right & as i lifted my sunglasses there was a long brown snake to the side of me, i screamed & the pool attendants came running, while i did a little dance to get up the steps. They very timidly chased the snake into a room & called in the experts to identify it. When i asked a couple of days later, Ahmed could only say it was a 'Catcher Snake', but no one seemed to know what that is & if it was poisonous, my hubby didnt know either. It was about a meter in length, brownish, thin & whippy, with an angular head. (not a Cobra, i know what that looks like). Does anyone know please ? I had nightmares for days after, i'd say 'lol', but it was more like 'scary' !

  Hey 7ala .. long time no see Those people are called "Refaay", or in Arabic "Refa3y" @ The only snake i can think of that is brown & has no markings sometimes is a Cobra, probably a young one.
