What's the best place in Egypt???

  • If I would go to Egypt, which place would you recommend to me?!?! I don't want to hear Sharm el Sheikh - yeah, it's awesome there, but I like it normal and I'm modest...I would like to eat koshare and fool, go for a walk 3al corniche and eat grilled corn.......*dreaming* ... :) So where's that great place? ;)

    go to Maadi . it is nice and clean. sit at a table by the Nile in one of the lovely cafeterias there . order the food you like , and have your favorite drink. before or after you go to the cafeteria , take a walk on the corniche and eat the corn mashwi ( grilled ) and speak or sing loud at your heart's full . enjoy yourself in Maadi to avoid crowds . you can also take a Nile cruise from the beginning of the Maadi Corniche .

salamun alaikum sis, well, i dunno about Egypt but you can come to Iraq and do all those things, except i don't think you'll find any koshare in Iraq - we do have bagillah ib dihin - which is basically the same as fool medames. lol, so, are you dreaming of Iraq now? =D take care sis...

I would recommend any nile cruise, the short ones for a couple of hours, or if you really like the nile, there is this place at the end of Abou El Feda road, after a restaurant called Salt and Pepper, me and my girlfriends used to go there all the time coz it was near our college (which was on the same street). We used to sit there for hours, the view was beautiful and the place was clean and not crowded. Btw, the famous Mohamed Abdel Wahab lived there, u can see his flat and balcony right in front of you. It's an awesome place, but i haven't been there for years.

koshare and fool are available everywhere in egypt...2 go walking on a cornaiche i like iit best in el 7'rda2a and marina and sharm but u said no sharm. grilled corn probabli marina \but all of egypt iis great for this stuff!!!
