What is the right skateboard size for me?

What size skateboard is right for me, or suggested size?

  • I am 6'1 almost 6'2. I've always liked skating but never got into it, but now my friends that do skateboard have talked me into it. I can already skate a little bit but i need some help with what size to buy.

  • Answer:

try every board your friends own and find out which is most comfortable to u then ask the friend who owns the board what size it is and you'll get some point of direction what size should u get I'm 7.5 but I'm a girl so that doesn't help u it seem to me like u should get a 8.0. Luck ;)))

If you prefer flip tricks, stairs and maybe street etc. I would recommend the 7.5 - 7.75 (no higher). If you prefer carving, ollies, transitions, vert I would go for the 8. If you want to stick in between go for the 7.75. However, a great advantage is what feels more comfortable for you. Hope this helps. Good luck.

you should get an 8"-8.5" since your feet are so big if you get smaller you may not be able to do tricks as well, although if you just wanna cruiser/ old school board it would matter cause those are usually 9-10"

7.75 is ideal for most skaters even i can ride it 8 is a bit big for me.. im very used to 7.5 though which many people point out is small :P

8.0 maybe a 7.75

it depends, if you have big feet get a wide board, and if you have small feet get a smaller board
