How to Ollie while in stationary(skateboard)?

  • okay i started to skateboard 3 days ago... i bought my first skateboard 3 days ago also and i already learned how to ride it and turn....and the past two days i was learning how to Ollie.. i can Ollie a good 10 inches ...but the problem is...i can only Ollie if i'm on a carpet stationary or if i'm actually moving on a solid surface i can Ollie...i can't Ollie in a solid surface while stationary ...but i can while moving..wtf?...when i try to Ollie stationary my board doesn't stay still i'm like wobbling all over the place.............. can anybody give me some tips or a video of how to Ollie better....and what should i learn next after i know how to Ollie really good

  • Answer:

It's ok you will learn over time. But the way I learn my tricks is on grass, once I have that down I put the front half of my board on grass and learn it, then the back half. You also said you can ollie moving but not stationary well most of the time it doesn't matter if you can't do it stationary. For your final question I suggest you either learn the frontside 180 or the bs pop shove-it .
