What are some jobs that pertain to motorcycles?

Which One? - Motorcycles / Hang Gliders / Bicycles?

  • Okay, sorry about the lengthiness of this, but I need to ask someone.... I tried to format it so it was easier on you... So I've been riding motorcycles for years. Right now I have a CR250 and love it. But the problem is that it's getting very expensive to own, for I am starting on other things and I had to quit my job. Yet still have time for a hobby or two. Anyway, as much as I love my bike, I think it's time to move on for something more financially friendly until I can own them all. Here's where you come in. I can either keep my CR250, and DRASTICALLY limit my rides. Or I can sell it and get a hang glider and/or bicycle (depends on which bike). YOU help me decide! -------------------------------- *Why keep my CR250? Well, even though it is expensive, and that I will have to limit my saddle time. I really truly love the sport of motorcycles for many reasons. I love my bike because I've put a lot of love and work into it. And I love how free you can be with a dirt bike where I live. It would also be more convenient to simply "keep" my motorcycle. *Why get a bicycle? I've always loved bicycles, I grew up doing summer jobs so I could buy a bicycle at Walmart. Every month I'd get an extra $50 and "return" my Walmart bike to exchange for a nicer one. I got up to about a $275 bike until I decided to "return" it and spend my money on my first motorcycle. After a while I started to miss my bike and did some research on real brand-name bicycles. I found out that there are some extraordinary bikes out there. And I happen to live in the mecca (or close to it) of bicycle riding. Road and MTB. *Why get a hang glider? After some thought, and realizing that I needed a low-maintenance hobby I started thinking about hang gliding seriously. Yes it may seem a little "fantastic" or dangerous, or maybe even plain old crazy! But after talking to professionals and gurus about it extensively, and finding out that I am also nearly in the mecca of hang gliding paradise, with Ryan Voight, and Point of the mountain very close to me. Plus having been told that it's right up my alley, and that I would be a very "fit" partaker of the sport. I would definitely consider it as a high-possibility. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Where do I live? I live in the smack-dab middle of UTAH. It's one of the BEST places for recreational sports and activities. And I seem to be one of the adventurous types. I can't do without something like listed above, I NEED it. Who am I? I'm a post-highschool pre-college student living with my parents. I LOVE doing things with "things" I would say vehicles, but it is not limited to that. Such as riding horses. If you know what I mean... As I said, I'm limited in money, and can more or less afford for what my motorcycle sells for. Anyway, if you made it this far you're either bored out of your skull or you really care. I'd appreciate ANY feedback, and hope to make a decision soon.

  • Answer:

I love my bicycle, I can go riding on the trails with my friends, and up here in Washington, near Seattle there are bat caves ( yes real bat caves with live bats) to bike around, and Galibreth Mountain, but in Utah... I'm really not sure where you could go... but you probably know some cool places. So I would recommend getting a bike.
