What are some individual softball drills?

• I have been playing softball for a long time (since I was little 9-10 years?), recently I took a year off for school, so I might be missing my Men's League games this year. I haven't pitched in awhile so I thought I should maybe start up. I realized/already kinda knew that my form was not perfect, but it worked for me and I wasn't doing too bad. BUT, I am starting to see that it hinders me. I have been trying to develop a perfect form. My old way was the way that I was taught, to hit your him with your wrist and let go. Now am I suppose to him my hip at all with any part of my arm? and when to a close my hips, I know your suppose to open up like, belly towards the 3rd basemen pretty much. Can you describe the ideal and perfect form. PLUS, what are some good drills and I heard about using electrical tape to see if you have good spin, but where do I tape?

  markers with one color band and another band color the other way will tell you the spin for both directions. I have never taught fast pitch, I understand it. Form for you might not be the perfect for you others. Some try to copy others and stress them selves and injury stop them from pitching. Go pick up some low cost video camera. Set it up and pitch to three batters. With the stripes and camera you can see your form and ball spin. Use good day light and HD camera. In time you can develop the pitch that you like and works for you. I once cut a ball for a fellow. Poured lead in the ball to make it heavy. From this he got some real speed and reg. balls were like throwing nothing at all. Might be something you could look for. good luck
