How to do back walkovers?

How can i build muscles for front handsprings back walkovers, handstands front walkovers, back handsprings?

  • basically anything for gymnastics like the ones above, and roundoffs, and how to strerch really good for splits(both), and back tucks, and front tucks and fulls, and layouts

  • Answer:

Just doing those elements will make you stronger and toned for perfecting the elements--however, the handstand holds are wonderful--make sure you have good form (no arching, keep your head in, and extend your body to the fullest) so that you don't hurt your back or other muscles. I never had to build muscles (and I have weak arms!)...once you practice the elements a lot and hard, you will become strong enough to do the elements--it just takes time. Every time you are sore after a practice (you should almost always be sore--I'm still competing and I've been in gymnastics for 11 years and I still get sore!) you know you are getting stronger. Good luck and keep up the hard work!

my suggestion is to do a handstand, and get someone to hold you steady. then do push up handstand until you want to colapse, that should help you build strength. also, pull ups are good.
