Where to get new skateboard bushings?

I have a problem with my skateboard please help?

  • i bought a skateboard at smyths toys store and the quaility is desent , the deck is strong and the trucks are metal . after a couple of days of just practising tricks i found a crack on the trucks just between the two bushings . what might have caused this and what would you suggest i should do, and dont say sumting like oh get a pro skateboard theyre just too expensive

    Unfortunately you have to get a pro skateboard. But if it's too expensive then just buy pro parts separately over time

AHhh sounds like you let someone talk you into a cheap complete skateboard, i would recommend that you go to your local skate skate shop & get a shop board, a pair of independents, a nice pair of abec 3 bearing maybe black panthers, or bones?, a nice set of wheels, & shorty's, or diamond hardware. toy stores are not skate shops, so its not always the best to buy a completes from there. i see your dilemma. the trucks cracked cus they are cheap. but you dont have to buy expensive pro trucks. with the jan sales coming up you can get hold of Venture or Indy trucks for cheap and they will be good quality.
