How can I break in skate shoes?

Do all skate shoes run small?

• I always wear skate shoes unless im at hockey i wear tennis shoes. Im looking at osiris high tops and it says NOTE:THIS SHOE RUNS SMALL SO PLEASE ORDER ONE SIZE UP. My tennis shoes are size 5.5. Ya i know i have tiny feet. My skate shoes(Etnies and DC) are size 7. So when i buy new skate shoes they are always bigger sizes so when i buy osiris should i order an 8 or a 7?

  i wear the same size in Osiris that I wear in other shoes, but my Osiris shoes are a few years old, so maybe they run small now.My Osiris are size 14.
