Is Phil Taylor the darts player that ever will be?

Can anybody stop phil THE POWER taylor winning MORE darts titles?

    many people are capable...but not many will succeed. Obvious candidates are Barneyand Part, both have good gameplay. Barney has beaten Taylor at least once in all formats, short and long. Part beat Taylor to become world champion a few years back but has faded somewhat since. I also think that Priestly shouldnt be discounted, he had a great Premier League campaign last season so he could still be a threat. Taylor is the top player and I really think the only thing that will stop him is retirement

There are always going to be players stopping Phil winning more titles. Barnaveld Joining the PDC has given him the kick up the backside that he need to improve his game. There are also a lot of good young players coming through the ranks of the PDC such as Mervyn King, Van Gerwen, Klassen, Bates, Terry Jenkins, Andy Hamilton & many more. There are other restablished stars already in the PDC such as Colin Lloyd, Kevin Painter, Peter Manley, Wayne Mardle, John Part, Roland Scholten, Ronnie Baxter to name but a few who can still beat him. The only thing that will stop him in the end is his retirement but I do not see that for the forseeable future with Barney knocking away at his top spot. Good luck to the guy I say & for what he has done to revive the great sport of darts around the world.

Barney already has. There is also a new breed coming through who don't seem to fear him, such as Colin Osbourne, James Wade and Wes Newton. In time they will become top dogs I feel.
