Best longboard wheel for cruising ?
-
Hi. I've had my board for about a month now, and the town I live in is extreamly flat. So I have been looking for a really good cruising wheel. (I have a Globe Tunnel Vision with a half inch riser, standed trucks, wheels and bushings (for now) and sector 9 platinum ABEC 9 bearings) let me know what you think would be the best wheel for my set up. Answer:
There are two main wheels for cruising. The zig zags and the noskoolz. You can get them in a range of different durometers (hardness) and sizes. For your board I would suggest 66mm 78a thane zig zags. They are the best for cruising. However if you weigh over 150lbs you should get 66mm 80a or 83a thane zig zags. If you get wheels that are too soft for your weight you will find it hard to gain speed. Here they are: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0040Y4NVE/ref=mp_s_a_3?qid=1326026108&sr=8-3
