What are the requirements to become a high school cheerleader?

What does it take to become a High School Cheerleader??

  • I was wondering what was required to be a high school cheerleader??? I can do pretty good gymnastics and I take hip hop classes!!! What else do I have to learn???

  • Answer:

    -You have to be flexible, so stretch everything as much as you can. -You have to be loud--and dont sing the cheer, make sure each word is clear and not sung -You need tight motions--so practice them in the mirror by making sure you sqeeze your arms (i.e. high v, low v, tee, broken tee, etc.) -You need to know how to dance -You need to be able to jump (i.e. toe touch, herkie, pike, hirdler, etc.) -Tumbling is an extra plus so thats good -SMILE alot during EVERYTHING and make faces during the dance (i.e. suprised face, kissy face, act like your the best during the dance) -Be nice to everyone and dont act cocky GOOD LUCK

OMFG! that puke bob is on my nerves! he made a rude comment on my cheerleading answer too! don't listen to him, me and you CAN become a high school cheerleaders! and i have no clue how to prepare! i only have 1 month i heard that we need to know how to do back bends and kart wheels and back walk overs i'm really nervous and i gotta make the team i wish you luck! =)
