Hi, im a new skateboarder, i have a local skate park. I'm really afraid going down the half pipe/pyrmaid.?

I just bought a new board on monday. i can skate around with out falling and stuff but im afraid of doing the pyramid and droping in. all my friends just say "Do it!" but when i get up there im like O NO. Do any of you guys have advice for getting by my fears of going down ramps? Please dont say "Just do it" because i have heard that 10000 times. :)

I was the same about 3 years ago. Just make sure to put all your weight at the front. The worst that will happen is that you will slip out. Once you learn you wont forget. I'm more into street skate and not vert. But i had my experience with dropping in, it took a few tries but you will get it.
