What are some good skateboard setups?

I'm I too old to start to learn skateboard?

  • i'm 20 now, and i wanna learn skateboard, but i saw all the ppl playing skateboard r like 16 or something, i have a little worry about ppl laugh when i practice basic skateboard skill. or when i fall down from the skateboard. ============== is skateboard easy too learn? i am very nerd at sport. (except tennis,swim,gym.) btw i'm man with 20 ****** years old.

    your not too old. i am 14 ive been skateboarding for about 4 years and its so fun. when you practice your tricks you can do them on the grass in your back yard or something and remember to at least wear a helmet when learing to ride. also you can get a cheap board. but it is alot less safe and the wood is diffrent so it will not have as much pop and the grip tape usually isnt very good and its not fast at all. you should visit a local skateshop and ask them about the best board for a beginner. good luck and have fun

Definitely not too old. I'm teaching a guy to skate that's 42 years old. Wanted to skate with his kids. Get yopur board from a local skate shop. Get a shop or blank deck. They can help you decise on wheels based on where and what type of skating you want to do.

You're never too old to learn anything. Look at modern skateboard champions, they're in their early thirties!
