Beginner buying a longboard?

ok so i have a $64 giftcard on amazon and i want to buy a longboard but im not sure which one to get....i was thinking of this one http://www.amazon.com/MOOSE-PINK-Longboard-Complete-Kicktail/dp/B005JTMWOY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1326365656&sr=8-1 is this a good buy for a beginner? if not what do u recommend i can buy on amazon??

I would never recommend a Moose board as they are cheap generic boards and they do not provide the experience of a read longboard. I recommend looking a Gravity boards. If you are really tight on a budget, I guess I would recommend Stella boards. If I were you I'd go to your local boardshop and take a look in person before deciding. Most places will let you stand on the boards if you ask nicely so that way you can get a feel of the different aspects to figure out what you prefer. Id stick with popular brands like sector 9, landyachtz, or loaded for your first board. Your budget is also very low, most Complete longboards are about $130 and up
