How can I make the Cheerleading Squad?

How can I make the JV cheerleading squad at my school?

• I'm in high school and i've NEVER cheered before. I've always wanted too. I couldnt try out this year due to scheduling problems, but i want to try out next year. We have a freshman squad, and jv, and varsity. I don't want to cheer on the freshman squad next year, i want to be with people my own age. So what can i do to make sure i'm good enough for jv? I'm tall and one of my friends told me i would be a good base.

  I used to be a cheerleader. So try to take gymnastics for the summer. Make sure you have cartwheels, jumps, front and back flips, and hope! All you have to do is try your best. Go to cheerleading.com and click on funstuff, then click on cheers and chants, you can click on new cheers. Find a cheer you like and pretend your cheering at a game-make motions and if you know anything related to cheerleading(cartwheels, claps, or jumps). All you have to be is a straight up straight cheerleader, not someone that makes everyone say that your a bad word. All you have to do is try your best and keep practicing. I hope you make jv or varsity.
