What longboard bearings to get?

Abec number rating has no significance when it comes to skateboard/longboard bearings. When it comes to bearings, NEVER waste your money on expensive bearings. There is no difference as long as you clean and lube them every few months. To clean them, all you need to do is take apart the bearings, shake them in some acetone, and add a few drops of lube. Me and the most of the longboarding community would never spend over $15 on bearings. I highly recommend MileHighSkate, Magic, or DaddieBoardShop (DBS) bearings, which cost $9 a set. For the price of those stupid crazy expensive bearings (Bones Swiss or Ceramics) you can get yourself 4 - 11 sets of bearings, which will spin just as long, and last just as long. They allow you to tighten you trucks all the way, without interfering with the bearing, which gives you a smoother ride.
