How loose should my wheels be on my longboard?
-
I was wondering if they should be loose enough so there is slight side-to-side movement (this alows less friction and freer movement of the wheels) or should it be tight (but more friction) so there is no movement side-to-side. i own a loaded tan tien with yellow stimulus orangutangs

If you have speed rings and bearing spacers, you will be able to tighten your wheels completely (zero side to side movement) without interfering with how the bearing spins. If you do not have bearing spacers, then tighten as much as you can without interfering with how the bearings spin.

Just a noticeable amount of play. Over-tightening will cause the wheels to not spin freely. Too loose and you will put too much side-load on the bearings and they will fail.
