  • im 19..please dont put hate comments, im just asking if i can still learn how to skate. or if im too old to learn and start skateboarding, then its fine... im not gonna push myself if its imposible.. thanks in advance!

  • Answer:

My ex-boyfriend used to skate and it took him about a year to become confident in himself. Why not try? You're never too old to start something new! Have fun!

naw man it's not too late! usually it's easier for ppl ur age to learn how to skate in a very short amount of time! go ahead before ur that old and crusty geezer who sits at the bottom of a 25 set playing chess all day

my brother was 20 back then and he can skate now i think that you can learn IF YOU PUT YOUR HEART IN IT AND/OR YOUR REALLY DETERMINE TO LEARN IT or you want to learn it so bad that you will not give up

Sure you can. Don't expect to be the next tony hawk or anything, but you can still learn the basics definitely, especially if you're moderately inshape/atheletic.

of course you can! :) thats a great age to learn. my cousin just went away to college across the country and he brought his longboard with him as his main mode of transportation around campus.

I started when I was 15 I'm 18 now, and still learning. Nothing is impossible. You can do anything you set your mind to. Try it, it takes time, it's fun. If you have trouble with balance, buy a Balance Board. Go to Garage Sales, and Yard Sales that's where I purchased my Balance Board. If you can't find one, try Wal-mart, and any other place first. Then try the website I'm putting in sources. Also, once you get the hang of riding a skateboard, adn staying on it, the easiet trick (requiring balance) is a Manual. After you've got that down, try an Ollie, and then go from there.
