How To Do The Splits?

How long will this take...splits..?

  • Hi :) I'm 16 and I really want to do the splits. Right now, i'm about 5 inches off of the ground for both my left and right splits. For my side splits, i'm more like 10 inches off? That is a lot!! I stretch every day. I do the regular stretches where I touch my toes, then I spread my legs out and stretch each side. Then i do lunges. After regular lunges I hold my back leg up. I also lay on my back and pull my legs (separately) to my chest. How long do you think it will take me to be able to do my left and right splits? What about my side splits? Could I do it in 2-3 weeks?? Thank you! :)

    yes you could. stretch alot first then go down into your splits and hold it until it hurts so bad you cannot take it anymore then take a short break and do it again. you will get closer to the ground the longer and more times you hold it

yes!! i got mines in 1 week haha just stretch alot and you have to push yourself until it hurts soo bad you wunna cry(:
