How to get in shape for girls lacrosse?!?

Well, I'm a junior in high school and extremely out of shape (I weigh about 180 pounds and I'm 5'3" which is why I want to join my schools LAX team) I can't even run for 5 minutes without feeling really tired. My schools team doesn't do cuts, but I honestly want to get in shape so I can actually be an effective player. The season starts in March so I basically have a little over a month or so to be able to play and do all the conditioning they're making us do. What exercises can I do in order to get in better shape/become a better runner?

I am 15, sophmore in high school and I've been playing girls lax for like 5 years and I suggest develop your running and stamina is the best so running everyday is what I recommend or atleast every other day and then every other day work on conditioning like sprints, mountain climbers, push ups, curl ups etc and then also work on your stick work such as cradling, lefty, righty and catching. If you can work on all of those as much as you can you will def be up to par and also familiarize with the game. Learn the positions and scoring methods and some basic plays bc the more you know the better. I hope this helps.But since your not used to running i recommend taking it easy. First go slow then build up every couple of days so you don't work yourself out. You don't want to hurt yourself or sprain a muscle before the season. Also get all the gear such as a good stick with a good head. Make sure you try to get a head with a little curve is possible bc if it's flat it's gonna be harder to catch and throw with. I added a lot of extra stuff but I hope this helps you

i play boys lacrosse it dependson what postion if youre playing middie you need to have th ebest stamina ever. so unless you get in to shape fats that i sout of the way. the best way to get your stamina is run more or run sprint running sprint helps alot to boost your stamin.
