How do i do a cheer scorpion?

How to get a heel stretch, split, scorpion, and good cheer jumps?

  • Hey, so I'm thinking about trying out for cheer for the first time as a freshman. I'll be doing it in winter because I love volleyball and I need more time to practice. I'm taking tumbling classes at a dance studio to learn some basic stuff, like back and front walkovers, etc. My heel stretch is at like 100 degrees instead of 180. I can't hold it for very long. My scorpion...is non existent xD I can do a side scorpion decently but that's it, my back starts popping and hurting when I'm doing a scorpion. As for jumps my herkie is not very good. My leg isn't even straight out, it's a little lower, but on the trampoline it can go up really high. For my toe touch, it's actually alright but I need more jumps and a better middle split...also non existent xD I also need help with my splits, and how to practice them everyday! Also for how long. My right split is the best, left is second best, and middle is worst. Phew. Sorry for this long question, thanks :D
