Cheer: which is harder, a scorpion or a heal stretch??

i can do a scorpion at prep level, and i can do a heal stretch on the floor. i'm just wondering which one would be easier, because i'm trying to decide which stunt to do in a pep rally. any help?

I say scorpion is harder but if you're flexible enough, maybe it won't be a problem for you. In a heal stretch, it's easy lean forward and in a scorpion, it's easy to loose grip of your foot. Just see which works better for you. Edit- neither scorpion nor heal stretch can be done fully and safely in prep, they really need to be done in extension to look good and avoid kicking your bases or back.

scorpions harder i did this in a pep rally before and then i did a heel stretch and thought to myself "man this heal stretch is way easier then the scorpion"

i can't help much because i dun't noe what either looks like either send me an example or just do it in the mirror and ask urself which one would get the crowd pumped up

a heel strtch i say is easier because you can just hit it up and uses less balance. in a scorpian you have to re-possition your arm and it could make you lose balance. i find a scorpian easier but to most people its harder. for less advanced girls on the team ,does heelstetches. and not all heels look so pretty so if you want easier go with heel. if you want a little prettier go with scorpian and since you have it in a half you should do one!

it depends on how flexible you are. I can do a heal stretch much easier than i can do a scorp. But Every flyer i know says that a scorpion is easier to balance in an extension (because your leg is closer to your body and not out there like a heal stretch). If you cant do a heal stretch in a prep you should do the scorp, i think it would be easier for u. Good luck =D

It all depends on how flexible you are. I'd say if you're very flexible, the heel stretch is easier to do because you can just go right up into it. with no problem If you're doing a scorp, you need to worry about grabbing your leg and pulling it up. its harder to balance that way.

scorpion, its so nifty, and totally not a pep stunt, usually a heal stretch is, and a scorpion is hard, and it will surprise people!

depends on your flexibility in either direction and balance. I have had some members of a squad I used to help coach do a great heel stretch and barely pull of a scorp and vice versa with others.

Well, you already have the scorpion in the air, so i guess your heal stretch would be harder. Scorps. look better and more difficult.
