Where can i rent a longboard skateboard?

Longboard vs Skateboard different experience?

  • Is the riding experience any different between a longboard and a skateboard? Because I really don't like skateboards, and I don't want to get my own longboard, and it ends up to be like a skateboard. Console me.

    skateboarding is mostly a fast paced twitchy movement these days.. Now 20 years ago it was a slower more meaningful feel when they only had crail boards and coffin boards.. Longboards are like trying to surf on pavement.. Really slow curves but can also make very drastic movements... With a long board you have to worry about were the ends of the board are cause there pretty long... They also cost more... I just think of long boarders as shitty surfers who were to scared to get wet

It is completely different. If you are not into flip tricks and such, then longboarding will give you a much better experience. There are longboards that arent even that much bigger than a skateboard. I would recommend the Earthwing Miniglider if you want a smaller board to cruise around on. If you want to get into downhill and speed, the Earthwing Supermodel is an excellent board. I would say just go and get a longboard. Do your research before and know what you are looking for.
