HELP! Want to become a cheerleader for Senior Year of High School!?

Right now, I'm looking to lose weight and I'd love to become a cheerleader for my Senior Year. Help! How do I lose weight, become more flexible, etc? I've been exercising like crazy, but I haven't played sports in forever and I'm not very flexible. I have about 5-6 months to do this. Help!!!

I'm trying to become a varsity cheerleader for senior year too (: I would start just simple stradle and reach for your leg one at a time for as long as you can hold it, I would recommend going to tumbling for a little while they'll help you with back hand springs and your flexability
