What would be a good downhill longboard for me?

Good longboard for carving, downhill, and sliding?

• Im looking for a longboard that can do some flat land riding, but mostly carving downhill, and im going to learn to slide. It has to be under or around $200. I have a pintail right now so i can set that up mainly for downhill and this board for carving. Is the dregs paradox or comet voodoo good for this? I was thinking about the voodoo. Thanks

  If you like deep concave to keep your feet locked in, I'd go with the earthwing supermodel. The 38" version will turn tighter, hence, better for carving and cruising, and the deep concave and drop through mounting for the trucks will make learning to slide much easier. Just add bearings and nuts and bolts and you're good to go! P.S. I hate to steer you away from comet because they have some cool designs, but the durability is very sketchy. All my friends who own comets had them delaminate and break after 2-3 months of riding. My friend owned a voodoo. It snapped after 6 weeks. Just want to make sure you don't buy something that's going to break. Happy skating!
