Skateboard grip tape question?

  • what is the best way to tell if your skateboards' grip tape is worn out? I know you can usually tell just from the feeling of riding, but the grip on my shoes are extremely worn out so it's hard to tell. Is there a way to tell by feeling it? or anything else?

  • Answer:

    Rub the griptape with an eraser; if it makes a noticeable white line then it isn't worn out.

rub your fingers on it. if they just glide across then its worn if it kind of hurts and slows it down you should be able to tell. push down a little hard but not to hard
